- Building Project of the Year at the Irish Building & Design Awards 2016
The Analog Devices Building at the University of Limerick took the award for Building Project of the Year at the Irish Building & Design Awards 2016.
Located centrally within the University’s South Campus, the €18m structure was constructed as part of the ground-breaking Bernal
Project. The new science and engineering building consists of state-of-the-art research laboratories, teaching spaces, common areas and
a 200-seat lecture theatre.
It has also achieved BREEAM Excellent certification, making it one of the first educational buildings in Ireland to be designed to do so.
