Bid Administrator (Part Time)

PUNCH Consulting Engineers have an exciting new opportunity for a Bid Administrator within the Administration Department. The Administrator will report directly to the Administration Manager (located in Dublin), Directors and General Company Senior Management as relevant. The role offers flexibility to work from any of our Irish offices (Dublin, Cork, Limerick, or Galway) In summary the role includes assisting with the following duties: Tender Bid Submissions, Marketing documentation and administration, Social Media input, New Staff Orientation, Quality Systems administration and General Office Administration. A detailed list of duties is included below:
Details
- Production of Tender Submission documents for new project bids in support of the Administration Manager, including liaising directly with the Project Director/Project Manager.
- General input into the running of the Company Tender Submission process.
- Preparation of and management of Marketing material (brochures, capability statements, etc.) using InDesign software (training included).
- Input to the Company’s Social Media Function. LinkedIn / Facebook / X.
- Assist Directors with company Marketing.
- Assisting the HR Manager when required.
- Assist with the compilation of monthly data sheets / Holiday charts / Environmental records/ Quality Management Systems administration.
- General office administration support and other ad hoc office duties as they arise.
Experience / Qualifications
- The candidate will ideally hold a University Degree and have a minimum of 3 years experience working in an office environment in a similar role. Industry specific experience is not a requirement.
- Experience with tender bid submissions preferable.
- Experience with Indesign software desirable.
- A high level of IT proficiency to include MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral is essential.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility for your work.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and deadline oriented.
- Commercial awareness and appreciation of the importance of quality and accuracy in the tender process.
- A flexible, positive and proactive mindset is essential with the ability to engage with numerous stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.
Working Hours
5-day week, circa 24 hours per week is preferable. Please note PUNCH operate a Hybrid working environment.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer for the successful candidate, commensurate with the candidates’ qualifications and level of experience, taking account of the role and level of responsibility involved.
