The project included the construction of 2 number grain storage silos with a capacity of 6,000 tonnes each. The works included:

Construction of 1.0m deep reinforced superstructure concrete plinths

• Installation of conveyors to allow infeed of grain product from ships berthed at the quayside to the grain silos
• Installation of 1 number grain bulk reception unit
• Construction of 1 Number braced steel frame cladded grain removal building to facilitate the loading of grain into articulated trucks for road transport
• Installation of conveyors to achieve outfeed of grain product from the grain storage silos to the grain removal building

PUNCH H&S have been involved in all stages of the design and construction, ensuring adequate communication is taking place between all of the interested parties.
