All potable water for the facility is sourced from an existing borehole on site.
Other infrastructure works include footpaths, cycleway, public lighting, advance motorway and internal signage, landscaping, electrical substation, petrol interceptor, surface water attenuation system outfalling to adjacent culvert, underground fuel storage tanks, and underground storage tanks for firefighting purposes and ancillary works.
The €7.0M development, which PUNCH helped to secure planning permission in July 2013, will be known as the Barack Obama Plaza after the US Presidents ancestral connections with the local village of Moneygall.
