The building is located next to the existing Pilz Ireland building and doubles the capacity of the overall Pilz campus in the Cork Business and Technology Park.
The new software development centre provides Pilz with the capacity to expand its current portfolio of automation systems while developing its technologies around internet of things (IoT), analytics and new software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications.
The developemt is located on former Department of Agriculture lands adjacent to the exiting Cork Business and Technology Park. The completed development has been integrated with with the existing Pilz facility and now forms an extension to the Technology Park.
The building contains a semi basement with a retaining wall along one side of the lower ground floor level to cater for the sloping topography of the site.
