International Women in Engineering Day 2025

Today, we proudly celebrate the incredible women shaping the future of engineering at PUNCH. From graduate engineers/technicians to senior leaders, our female colleagues bring innovation, resilience, and a collaborative spirit to everything they do. Our female engineers and technicians are delivering complex infrastructure and transformative urban projects, all while mentoring, leading, and inspiring the next generation of talent. Marking days like International Women in Engineering Day is not just symbolic, it helps encourage and empower young women to pursue careers in our industry.

This year, we’re proud to announce our partnership with IWISH, an initiative dedicated to showcasing the power of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths to teenage girls. Investing in girls during these formative years is, we believe, the most impactful way to correct the gender imbalance in STEM.

To every woman in engineering your presence is transforming the landscape of our industry, and we’re proud to be part of the movement encouraging the next wave of female leaders in engineering.

At PUNCH, we understand the value of education. That’s why we support our staff who wish to undertake further education and training. We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
