We are excitedly anticipating the Irish Concrete Society Awards on March 19th, where five PUNCH projects have been nominated in three categories: Infrastructure, Buildings and Elements. These awards honour innovative uses of concrete in engineering, design and construction.
Our nominated projects feature the Shanganagh Castle Estate Public Realm Dublin, the University of Limerick Student Centre, Kilsaran Headquarters Co Meath, and the National Archives Dublin. The other PUNCH project nominated is Rosslare Europort Terminal 7, where PUNCH did the design up to the completion of Tender stage and then acted as Technical Adviser for the constructions stage.
Each of these projects required significant collaboration with design and construction teams who brought them to life. Well done to all involved.
At PUNCH, we understand the value of education. That’s why we support our staff who wish to undertake further education and training. We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
