We are thrilled to share that PUNCH Consulting Engineers, a COWI company, has been appointed as part of the design team to deliver the Ashline Link Road Project in Ennis for Clare County Council.
Funded through the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage’s Housing Infrastructure Investment Fund (HIIF) programme, managed by the Housing Activation Office, the project will facilitate direct access to over 8.5 hectares of zoned lands at Ashline with the potential for approximately 300 new homes.
It will also function as a sustainable mobility spine designed to reduce transport-related emissions and support compact, low-carbon growth. We are looking forward to working alongside the wider team to deliver this project.
At PUNCH, we understand the value of education. That’s why we support our staff who wish to undertake further education and training. We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
