PUNCH is delighted to report on the progress of the new Irish Embassy building in Abuja, Nigeria. This concrete framed building with external steel walkways and brise soleil façade is nearing completion. The chancery building will consist of a 900m² four storey building including accommodation for meeting rooms, office space, an archive and an expo space which will service the head of missions and visa office for the Department of Foreign Affairs. PUNCH has provided Civil & Structural Engineering, PSDP and Assigned Certifier Services on the project.

We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
