PUNCH was delighted to provide civil & structural engineering design as well as Assigned Certifier and PSDP services on this unique development comprising the restored 1790s home that is Bloomfield House and 12 distinctive apartments in the adjoining restored buildings of Northfield and Westfield at Bloomfield Donnybrook, Dublin 4.
Bloomfield House, a Protected Structure, is the former family home of Irish Patriot Robert Emmett and is an exceptional, feature filled four-bedroom home extending to 4,200ft. Many original features remain intact, including cornice work, fireplaces, stairwells, doors and windows. PUNCH worked closely with Edward Homes to restore the original Bloomfield House to a meticulous standard with a multitude of modern conveniences added without affecting the true character of Bloomfield House.
The 12 Apartments located within Northfield and Westfield all include very high ceilings and large restored windows, ensuring that all apartments are light-filled and airy, and range in size from 1,100ft2 to 1,500ft2 for the 2-bed and 1600ft2 or more for the 3-bed apartment Office Refurbishment works carried out on 3 buildings, Haddington House, Hadleigh Court and Haddington Centre, Percy Place, Dublin 4.
