The Stryker Innovation Centre is located on Stryker’s 1.5 hectare campus within the IDA Business Park in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.
The Innovation Centre development comprises of a two-storey industry-based technology development to house research and development based activities with accommodation for 150 staff. The Innovation Centre supports Stryker Ireland Ltd indigenous manufacturing facilities, as well as Stryker facilities based in Europe and the USA.
The Innovation Centre, which is intended to fuel future growth for Stryker, focuses on research and development of products, technologies and solutions to reduce surgical procedure time and healthcare costs while improving surgical precision and clinical outcomes in the areas of bone cutting, soft tissue dissection and adjacent areas across a broad spectrum of surgical specialities and procedures.
The development includes 192 car parking spaces, 10 no bicycle spaces, set down areas, waste storage area, service and circulation areas. The building is set in a fully landscaped setting, and compliments the existing established landscaping treatment on neighbouring sites.
