PUNCH was appointed by Irish Water to design an upgrade to an existing treatment plant from approximately 800PE to 1350PE. The detailed design was for the use of Rotating Biological Contactors as the main form of treatment. The works included:
- Preliminary design, option selection reports and drawings
- Design workshops
- Coordinating third party surveys
- Detailed design reports and drawings
The design was undertaken in accordance with the Irish Water Code of Practice and Specifications.
The site was also subject to flooding and a Stage 2 Site Specific Flood Risk Assessment was carried out.

We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
