PUNCH Consulting Engineers is delighted to be working with Kilkenny County Council as part of a Multidisciplinary Team led by MCORM Architecture and Urban Design on a Urban Design Strategy for the John’s Quay/John Street area of the City. The goal of the Urban Design Strategy is to enhance the quality of life in the area by revitalising public spaces, supporting local businesses, and preserving the rich cultural and historical heritage of John’s Quay / John Street area. Local stakeholder’s knowledge and input into the strategy is a vital component to ensuring a sustainable, vibrant, inclusive and specifically tailored strategy is developed for the area.
Kilkenny County Council is therefore undertaking a survey and hosting public consultation events to gain public inputs. The Survey is available via the following link: Survey
