Limerick City Active Travel – South Circular Road to Bishops Quay

PUNCH was appointed by Limerick City & County Council to undertake the design of the South Circular Road to Bishops Quay Active Travel Scheme. The purpose of the project was to provide dedicated cycle facilities from Ballykeeffe Roundabout to Bishops Quay via South Circular Road, Henry Street and Mill Lane. The full length of the scheme is approximately 2.8km along a designated primary route for the city centre.

All design is in accordance with the National Cycle Manual, Design Manual for Urban Roads and Street and the National Transport Authority Project Approval Guidelines and approved at all the relevant hold stages of the project.
