€80m for OPERA Square Development

PUNCH were delighted to be present on Tuesday at the announcement of the joint venture partnership between Limerick Twenty Thirty and Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) for Project Opera.  ISIF will provide €80 million in funding for the construction of the One Opera Square building, which forms a central element of the overall development.

One Opera Square will be located at the corner of Michael Street and Ellen Street and comprise of six flexible-use floors that can accommodate several tenancies per floor for up to 1,000 employees. The development will also feature restaurant and retail units at ground level, an external seating area in the public square, external landscaped roof terraces, and cycle facilities for employees. One Opera Square will be developed to achieve LEED Platinum accreditation and a Nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB) rating, ensuring it meets the highest international sustainability standards.
