Voltclub acquired a portfolio consisting of four solar farms situated in County Cork and County Waterford. To assist with the design and construction phases of the project, Voltclub enlisted the services of PUNCH Consulting Engineers.
Site visits and desktop evaluations were conducted. Our team specified, procured and administered the site investigation works contract. Our team also managed the procured the main contract packages which included an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the solar element and an Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) contract for the grid connection works. Our service scope included updating planning stage design documents created by others to reflect all modifications made after the completion of on-site surveys, investigations, and technical assessments.

We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
