PUNCH Celebrates Engineers Week at Brittas Bay National School!

PUNCH engineers had a fantastic morning with the 4th & 5th class students at Brittas Bay National School, introducing the world of engineering through a hands-on challenge of building spaghetti and marshmallow bridges. The teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving on display were outstanding — and there was plenty of fun (and a few marshmallows eaten along the way!)

At PUNCH, we are committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers and showing young people how engineering shapes the world around them, from bridges and buildings to transport, healthcare, and our everyday communities. A huge thank you to the teachers and students for welcoming us and embracing the challenge with such enthusiasm. We are already looking forward to next year!

At PUNCH, we understand the value of education. That’s why we support our staff who wish to undertake further education and training. We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
