PUNCH Consulting Engineers has an exciting new opportunity for a for a highly organised and professional
Administrative Assistant to join the PUNCH team. You will be integral to how we operate, working closely with our leadership team to provide administrative support for the day-to-day operation of our business and our projects.
This role will provide professional, confidential and proactive administrative, logistical and coordination support to the Irish Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Acting as a shared support resource across the leadership team, you will help ensure the efficient management of diaries, meetings, travel, events and communications, enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Provide day-to-day support to one or more members of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) operating the business across UK & Ireland.
- This will include diary management, arranging internal or external meetings, organising UK or international travel, and reconciling and submitting expenses.
- You will work closely with SLT to provide wider operational administrative support to the business e.g. arranging, preparing material for, attending and taking records of management meetings; updating management records including internal SharePoint sites; preparing presentation material for internal business communications; helping support timely and accurate completion of timesheets; or conducting research and compiling data to support wider business initiatives.
- You will also be required to provide administrative support to Project Managers on some of our key projects.
- This may include, for example, assistance in updating project resource forecasts, timesheets, and organisation charts; scheduling meetings and preparing agendas and minutes; supporting preparation of regular project management reports; updating other project or document management systems or processes.

- Demonstrable experience working in similar roles e.g. as a personal or executive assistant, or in project coordination or administration.
- A collaborative professional, with effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities, able to take the initiative and bring your own ideas and solutions to problems.
- A highly organised individual with the ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships at all levels within a business, and the skill to handle deadlines or quickly realign to changing priorities.
- Professional and discrete when dealing with personal or confidential information related to people or projects.
- Skilled at operating alone as well as within a broader administrative team that assists one another to ensure consistent service to our leadership team and significant projects.
- Have effective written and verbal communication, able to adapt your style as the situation demands, and with a focus on detail when necessary.
- A proficient user of Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and of business collaboration tools such as SharePoint and PowerBI with an aptitude to learn new software packages if required.
What We Offer You
- Competitive remuneration package, commensurate with experience, the salary band for this role of band of €38,000 to €54,000 depending on seniority and location.
