Happy International Women’s Day 2026! This year’s theme “Give to Gain” emphasises the importance of generosity and collaboration in fostering empowerment and equality. By sharing knowledge, resources, and support, individuals and communities can uplift women worldwide, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
This year for International Women’s Day, our teams held internal Knowledge Sharing sessions throughout the week which covered topics such as the opportunities available to those who wish to pursue careers in Engineering, the importance of work life balance, and how we can motivate each other to understand the value of the work that we do. These informative sessions helped us reflect on the theme of IWD, and what positive effect we can have if we share our experiences – not just for females, but for everyone.
At PUNCH, we understand the value of education. That’s why we support our staff who wish to undertake further education and training. We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
