As part of an ACEI delegation, our Managing Director and ACEI President Tim Murnane was pleased to give evidence before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Infrastructure and NDP Delivery. Engineering colleagues from Engineers Ireland and the Irish Academy of Engineering, were also in attendance.
In his role as ACEI President, Tim has been advocating strongly for the Consulting Engineering profession and highlighting the critically important work we do for our country. Delivering this message directly to members of the Oireachtas in Leinster House, Tim’s message was a simple one – help us to help you and Consulting Engineers will deliver in spades on Infrastructure and Housing delivery.
Tim thanked his fellow ACEI volunteers for their attendance and those of Engineers Irieland and the Irish Academy of Engineers.
At PUNCH, we understand the value of education. That’s why we support our staff who wish to undertake further education and training. We encourage staff members to maintain their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditations with Engineers Ireland. We also continue to offer training in sustainable design and construction through seminars, in-house lectures, and external training programmes. We promote the achievement of professional titles with institutions such as Engineers Ireland, the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, the Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers.
