This project was completed in two phases. Phase 1 saw the construction of a 100,000ft2 distribution warehouse split into two units, divided by removable structural panels to accommodate a single occupier in the future. The 80,000 ft2 Phase 2 commenced mid way through Phase 1. It included an external vehicle maintenance unit, ancillary buildings, yard slabs and associated site works.
Lucey Transport is a leading provider of logistic services in Ireland with over 500,000ft2 of warehousing throughout the country. PUNCH was appointed as Civil and Structural engineers on this project, in addition to providing our Project Management services. Our brief was to deliver a building that was constructed to the highest standards but was also flexible enough in design to allow the building to be used by a single occupier or divided up into four individual units, each unit designed to function separately.
Through innovative thinking and design, PUNCH Consulting Engineers provided the required in the building design to allow the building to be used by a single occupier or divided up into four individual units, each unit designed to function separately.
