Marybone Village Cladding Replacement

The project entailed replacing existing cladding that was deemed unsuitable due to its combustible material, in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Additionally, defects were identified in the current brickwork cladding, prompting the decision to remove it entirely and replace it with new brickwork throughout. Despite facing a strict and tight deadline, PUNCH, along with the entire design team and contractor, successfully delivered the project.

PUNCH Consulting was engaged by the contractor to provide Structural Engineering services, which included:
• Assisting in the development of design solutions for the new rainscreen cladding and brickwork
• Evaluating the existing load capacity of the structure to accommodate the new finishes, boarding, and design fixings/connections required for the new solution.
